Looking for good wine in Prague? Try Vin de Marie

“Our selection primarily features wines from Central European winemakers, along with a few selections from France, Italy, and Georgia. We enjoy working with winemakers who share our values and a similar approach to gastronomy — we select producers who use minimal intervention both in the vineyard and in the cellar,” says Zdeněk Oudes, sommelier at La Degustation Bohême Bourgeoise and co-owner of the new wine shop, describing the wine selection. Guests can purchase wines from Vin de Marie to take home, or order a glass with dinner at Marie B. Wine pairings from the Vin de Marie selection are also available at Marie B.
The Vin de Marie offering includes sausages from the family-run Agrisalumeria Luiset farm south of Turin, cheeses from northern Piedmont from the family-owned Luigi Guffanti company, Piedmont hazelnuts, apricot jam from orchards in the Wachau region of Austria, and La Perle sardines from the French coast. Our selection of additional products will be continuously updated and expanded.
“Vin de Marie was created so that we could share our joy with people who are also interested in and enjoy wine. The face and heart of the shop is Petra Vítková, who brings a wealth of experience from her previous workplace, the Veltlin wine bar in Karlín,” adds sommelier Zdeněk Oudes. Over time, Vin de Marie will also host intimate gatherings with winemakers and training sessions for staff.
