Where to eat and drink in Prague? DJ Netsky shares his 6 favourite spots to visit

Belgian DJ Netsky arrived in Prague and besides playing he got a taste of the city. The drum and bass producer, who tours the world's biggest festivals, returns here regularly and it is clear that Prague has grown close to his heart.
From the airport he headed straight for a burger, followed by a secret pop-up set and also a new favourite beer which accompanied him all the way to backstage the next day. Around 400 people turned up for the secret set and the energy was exactly what you get when things happen spontaneously and without a lot of planning.
Here are the venues he chose during his visit.
Naše maso
From the airport straight to Dlouhá Street. Naše maso was the first stop, no delays.
A butcher shop that returned to the centre of Prague in 2014, emphasising the the origin of ingredients, craftsmanship and a direct relationship with customers. The meat here is sourced and processed in the traditional way, without unnecessary interventions. When you're hungry and short on time, there's nothing to think about. "I had the Wagyu burger and it was incredible." says DJ Netsky.

Kantýna
DJ Netsky is clear: "Kantýna is very cool."
A business near Wenceslas Square, where under one roof a butcher shop meets a kitchen. Meat from Czech farms is prepared on an open fire and selected directly from the counter, not from a menu. Netsky mentions it in the same breath as Lokál.

Lokal Dlouhááá
"I really like Lokál, I love it there," he says.
The first (and longest) Lokál location at 69 metres, this spot serves beer from 12 tanks and Czech cuisine without compromise. Netsky tasted segedin goulash here, he liked the čochtan (a classic Czech beer pour, tapped with no foam) and learned to say the names of all the beers in Czech. Next time he'd like to try the tap school..
"I find your beer culture amazing. Your tapping process is different from ours, and I can't say anything against Belgian beer, but your Pilsner is incredible." A Belgian who praises Pilsen. Remember.

U Kalendů
Here, they butcher, smoke, pickle, preserve and bake their own bread. Nothing extra, and nothing wasted. Giblets, slow-pulled meats and seasonal dishes that get to the heart of the ingredients meet on the plate. Chefs and bakers work literally side by side, and since 2025, the business has been an award-winning Bib Gourmand.
Netsky headed here right away on Friday for lunch. He ordered the duck gizzards on bread and rabbit, was thrilled and would like to try more next time.

Dva kohouti
The secret set in the backyard of Dva kohouti was announced on Friday afternoon. Netsky picked the place himself and got in touch with them to say that he'd like to play here.
Dva kohouti are a brewery and a taproom under one roof, brewing during the day, tapping in the afternoon and evening. The brewer and the bartender each have their place here, and it shows.
"We sat at Dva kohouti and had this great beer." Netsky liked California by Pivovar Matuška so much that he took it with him.

In the evening, DJ Netsky played at Roxy - and California went here, too. So the recipe for the ideal visit to the heart of Europe, according to Netsky? Meat, beer and a few tried-and-true stops along the way. The rest is up to the city.
