Eska Letná

A quick coffee and a bite to go – Eska's Letná location is well-prepared for those in a hurry. Grab one of their hearty sandwiches, savoury pastries or pick up some Amaso ham from the shop. And don’t forget to add something sweet. 

A bakery and kitchen full of life

Visit Eska in Karlín. Everry day, we bake our renowned bread 33, along with sweet buns, cakes and kolache. On Fridays, our bread 66 is available until it sells out – and if you're not in the mood for baked goods, come for a lunch of local produce, or one of our famous breakfasts, which are prepared until late afternoon. Oh, and don't forget to take a look round our shop on the way out.

Bbred

A huge sandwich served in a handy box might be exactly what you’re looking for. Near the Žižkov Tower, you’ll find Bbred, a bistro where they prepare fresh sandwiches, made in a way that leaves the bread joined at the ends, making them easy to eat. And you can choose from plenty of options: try the avocado, beef, eggs and mushroom, or shrimp. 

Skô

Holešovice has options too! In the courtyard of Holešovice Market Hall, home to three Ambiente businesses, you’ll be well taken care of. Grab a bite at Myšák, meat lovers will be delighted at Naše maso, and if you want to try something new, head to Skô.

During the day, alongside to the restaurant, there’s also a snack bar, where they serve anyone who just wants a quick bite to go. Try the lángos, halušky, cod in mayonnaise, or bread with bryndza spread.

The dream of chef Tomáš Valkovič, at Skô, dishes are prepared over the fire, inspired by the cuisine of Slovakia and beyond. Come for a quick lunch and a glass of wine, a relaxed dinner, a traditional langoš accompanied by a good pint.

Gemüse Corner Kebab

It all started with a stand in Podolí, and today, you can find their kebab at three other locations in Prague: in Vinohrady, Karlín, and Letná. And that's not all — try a falafel sandwich, a chicken box, or the veggie version with halloumi. And what to drink with it? Ayran, of course! 

Burger Service

If you get hungry downtown but just need something to go, your options are pretty limited. If you don’t want to settle for a defrosted pizza from a drive-thru but would rather have something substantial, fresh, and high-quality, head to Burger Service.

They specialise in takeout burgers, wrapped it in special paper that keeps them nice and juicy for a long time.

If you’re in the mood for a grilled meat sandwich, head to Cheesus Crust in Holešovice. You’ll find classics like the BLT or pastrami here, but their most popular items are grilled sandwiches filled with pulled meat and cheese. They’re made just right so you can enjoy them on the go.

We couldn't leave out this classic. This popular deli on Jungmannova Street is perfect if you’re in the mood for something small - think open sandwiches, pastries, spreads, baked goods, or filled croissants.
