No time for a sit-down lunch? We’ve got you! Here's are ten spots in Prague where you'll be able to grab a bite in under half an hour, whether you choose to eat there, or take it to go.

1. The salad bar at Pizza Nuova

Parma ham, buffalo mozzarella, Gran Padano cheese, or fresh tomatoes. Just tell the server you’ll have a salad, cut the waiting time, and load up your plate with Italian cured meats, cheeses, and salads from the antipasti buffet. And feel free to go back for seconds!

2. On the go at Kantýna

Just walk into Kantýna, grab a tray, and at the serving window, they’ll load it up with whatever you’re in the mood for. You don’t even have to waste time looking for a seat—you can eat standing up. If you’d like something quick to take away, we recommend the beef heart pastrami sandwich from the deli. It’s conveniently wrapped in foil and tastes great, even once it cools down. And during the week, you’ll find hearty open-faced sandwiches in the butcher shop’s display case.

Kantýna: Temple of meat

Load your plate with Czech beef and pork from the fire, order a beer at the bar, and tuck in. Our chefs cook from what the butchers supply, meaning the menu is constantly changing – each time you visit, you'll taste something different. Pick up something for home at our butchers' counter, or pick out the perfect cut and we'll grill it on the spot.

We don't take reservations – thanks for understanding.

3. Nikkei sushi and salad at Brasileiro

In the mood for something different? Sushi, oysters, seafood salad, or shrimp with mango and chilli are just a taster of what awaits you at the salad bar at Brasileiro U Zelené žáby. If you’re in a hurry, you’ll be done eating in twenty minutes. And if not, you can sit back and take advantage of the all-you-can-eat policy.

Big on hunger, short on time? Grab lunch at the never-ending, colourful salad bar with sushi and pao de queijo at one of our Brasiliero locations. And if you've got time – and room – left, let us bring you tender meat from the grill, and have a small Brazilian feast in the middle of the day.

4. Sandwiches from Naše maso

A cup of broth, a sandwich, meatloaf in a bun, or a burger? Yum! But if you’re still not sure what to choose, the butchers at Naše maso will be happy to help. And if you’re in a real hurry, they’ll whip up a hot dog in a matter of minutes.

5. Pulled meat from Bufet

Pulled meat with mashed potatoes and roasted vegetables will be especially appreciated by those who aren’t in the mood for fast food. All you have to do is decide whether you’d rather have chicken or beef. And if you do feel like indulging a little, they’re ready for you too, with burgers, fried chicken, or the monthly specials!

Lokál is a dream which came true – one of a Czech pub where regulars feel at home. In 2009 we opened Lokál Dlouháááá, and the others soon followed. Today we have nine locations – seven in Prague, one in Brno and another in Pilsen.
We serve beer that's fresh, right to the last sip, and real home cooking. Lokál is a place where good beer and honest food matter.
Come on in!

If you’re near Holešovice, stop by for this Slovak fried classic. At Skô, they serve it in two versions at the snack bar, either the classic OG or the special. Let yourself be surprised by whatever Tomáš Valkovič’s team has prepared for you.
